"Lost" Runs Away From "Idol"

In a sign of respect for the juggernaut that is "American Idol" -- and a tacit recognition that "Lost" has seriously weakened this season and is even being beaten by redhot "Criminal Minds" -- ABC is moving the drama from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesdays. It wil be preceded by a two hour sacrifical lamb, I mean sitcom block, led off by "George Lopez," "According To Jim," the modestly amusing "Knights of Prosperity" and "In Case Of Emergency." "Lost" will be facing "CSI:NY" and "Medium." Some suggest "Lost" is a family show and that the 10 p.m. airtime will hurt that. I think fans were already disenchanted and that the break, combined with a new airtime and a lead-in that will be slaughtered by "Idol" is going to seriously damage it.
