Overnight TV Ratings: Welcome Back "Rudolph!"

"Frosty The Snowman" may have scored bigger ratings Friday night, but I was glad to see it and especially "Rudolph" still pulling viewers despite their wide availability on DVD. I know it's cool to say that "The Year Without A Santa Claus" is the real Rankin-Bass masterpiece (and I love it), but "Rudolph" is pretty flawless. As for Sunday, a football overrun meant "60 Minutes" started at 7:30 p.m., but I've kept everything in their usual slot to save a lot of bother. Go to MediaWeek's Marc Berman for a complete ratings breakdown.
